Privacy Policy
How we handle your data
The protection of your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you which personal data are processed when you visit this website, for what purpose this is done and what rights you have.
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of doubt, the German version is legally binding.

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

44575 Castrop-Rauxel
Germany
Represented by the Managing Director Kerstin Neuhaus-Ameti

For all questions about data protection and to exercise your rights, you can reach us using the contact details above.
2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website, our content and services, or to process your enquiries. The legal bases are in particular:
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – your consent,
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, for example in the case of enquiries about our products,
- Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with legal obligations, for example retention obligations under commercial and tax law,
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interests, for example in the secure and trouble-free operation of this website.
Where we store information on your terminal device or read information from it, we only do so if this is strictly necessary for the service you have requested or if you have given your consent (Section 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG).
Personal data are deleted as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Alfahosting GmbH, Edmund-von-Lippmann-Straße 13–15, 06112 Halle (Saale), Germany. The servers are located in Germany. The host processes all data generated when the website is accessed on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions on the basis of a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the reliable and secure provision of our website.
4. Server log files
Each time this website is accessed, information transmitted by your browser is automatically recorded:
- IP address of the requesting device,
- date and time of access,
- page or file accessed and amount of data transferred,
- previously visited page (referrer URL),
- browser type and version as well as operating system.
These data are technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security, for example to fend off attacks. They are not combined with other data sources and are automatically deleted after a short time unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar. Data you transmit to us, for example via our enquiry forms, therefore cannot be read by third parties.
6. Contact and enquiry forms
You can contact us by e-mail, phone, fax or via the enquiry forms on this website, for example for product, service or spare parts enquiries. In doing so, we process the information you provide: in the forms, your name, e-mail address, subject and message and, depending on the form, also company, system type, device or spare part.
The form data are sent by e-mail to our mailbox and are not additionally stored in a database of the website. We use them exclusively to process your enquiry and for any follow-up questions and do not pass them on without your consent.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to a contract or its initiation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in answering your enquiry. We delete the data as soon as your enquiry has been conclusively processed and no statutory retention obligations apply; we retain business correspondence for the periods of six or ten years required under commercial and tax law.
7. Applications
If you apply to us, for example by e-mail in response to one of our job advertisements, we process your application documents to carry out the application process. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
If no employment relationship is established, we delete your documents six months after the end of the process, unless you have consented to longer storage. This period serves to defend against possible claims under the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG). If an employment relationship is established, the data are transferred to the personnel file.
8. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set any cookies during a normal visit and does not use any analysis, tracking or advertising services.
Only if you actively load a Google Maps map (see section 10) may Google use its own cookies or similar technologies. You can set your browser to reject cookies in general or to delete them when you close the browser.
9. Fonts and icons
The fonts and icons used on this website are loaded from our own server. No connection to servers of Google or other providers is established for this purpose.
10. Google Maps
We use maps from the Google Maps service to show our location. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The map is only loaded when you click “Load map”. Only then is a connection to Google’s servers established, and Google receives in particular your IP address, information about your browser and the page accessed. Google may set cookies and may also transfer the data to servers of Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is therefore covered by an adequacy decision of the EU Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).
The legal basis is your consent, which you give by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). The consent only applies to the respective page view; without a click, no data are transferred to Google. Alternatively, you can use the “Open route in Google Maps” link, which opens Google Maps in a new window.

11. Links to social networks
On our website you will find links to our profiles on LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok. These are simple links, not embedded plug-ins: no data are transferred to these networks when you visit our website. Only when you follow a link do the data protection provisions of the respective provider apply.
12. Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
- right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
- right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
- right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- right to withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details given in section 1 is sufficient.
13. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:
Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia)
Postfach 20 04 44, 40102 Düsseldorf, Germany
